The US Youth National Team topped the Copperheads 5-1 in an exhibition game in Cary, NC.  The game was held at the beautiful new USA Baseball Complex.  The Copperheads played well, but Team USA proved to be too deep in the end.  UNC signee Robbie Penny got the start for the Copperheads and struck out 5 in four innings of work.  Tyler Zupcic of the South Charlotte Panthers joined the Copperheads today and led the offense with two hits including a double.  For some of the Copperheads, this was there final outing before taking off to college.  We would like to wish them all the best!
