The Davidson Copperheads will be arriving into town tonight and tomorrow in order to prepare for the summer season.  Practice will begin on Thursday at Davidson College where the team will intersquad at 3:00.  This event will be open to the public.  The Copperheads will then open the regular season at Morganton on Monday, June 4th.  The Copperheads will return home for their home opener at Davidson on Wednesday, June 6th at 7:00.  We would like to pack the stadium for the opener to welcome these guys to town.
